About NMTA

The North Metro Tennis Association began in 2010. Its two primary goals were to create more tennis opportunities in the north metro area, and to generate excitement in adult tennis tournaments in general. That first year, NMTA created a series of 4 adult tournaments and awarded equal prize money to all ability levels. In the end, a total of $950 was awarded. This year, the focus is on expanding the tour by incorporating tournaments run by other facilities as a part of the series. The long term goal of the NMTA is to provide more tennis competitions and opportunities for tennis players of all ages and abilities. Above all, the NMTA is committed to making tournament play fun, exciting and rewarding for players at all levels.
